About Cookspeed

Mustapha B., founder of Cookspeed

Hi, I'm Mustapha 👋

I'm a Moroccan entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Web Project Solutions LLC. I started Cookspeed for one simple reason: I love to cook, and nothing makes me happier than traditional Moroccan food.

My story

Cooking has been part of my life since I was young. At nineteen, I worked in my father's food shop, where I learned to cook for real people day in and day out, and where my love for the craft truly took root.

These days I spend most of my time building companies, and the kitchen is where I switch off. The way some people unwind with video games, I unwind by cooking. It's genuinely my favorite thing to do, and turning the Moroccan recipes I grew up with into something I can share is the perfect escape from the stress of entrepreneurial life.

Eventually my two worlds came together. At Web Project Solutions, building web apps and tools is what my team and I do every day, so I decided to put that skill to work for fellow cooks. I started making small, free tools to solve the everyday kitchen problems I kept running into myself, and it grew fast: today you'll find dozens of them right here on Cookspeed, all completely free and with no sign-up.

And every recipe here is one I research carefully and cook myself, so you get authentic, dependable results every time. Welcome to my kitchen, let's make something delicious together.

What Cookspeed is

Cookspeed brings together two things I care about: authentic Moroccan recipes and fast, free cooking tools. The recipes are tested and written step by step; the tools, measurement converters, cooking-time calculators, temperature charts and meal planners, answer one kitchen question at a time and load instantly on any phone, with no sign-up and no clutter.

How our numbers are sourced

Accuracy matters in the kitchen, so our data comes from recognised references rather than guesswork:

  • Ingredient weights are based on commonly cited King Arthur Baking and USDA densities, measured spooned-and-levelled.
  • Safe internal temperatures follow USDA FSIS food-safety guidance.
  • Cooking times are starting estimates drawn from established culinary sources, always confirm doneness with a thermometer.

Our conversion logic is unit-tested against known values so the math stays correct as we add tools. If you ever spot a number that looks off, please tell me.
